RLT-SO101P is an advanced multi-functional soluble oil additive package based on paraffinic base oil that produces premium metalworking fluids with exceptional lubricity, corrosion protection, and emulsion stability. Specially formulated for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, this versatile concentrate delivers superior cooling, extended tool life, and excellent surface finishes - outperforming traditional soluble oils.
Soluble Oil Package RLT-SO101P
If you manufacture metalworking coolants and need a ready-to-use additive compound to make stable paraffin soluble cutting oil, RLT-SO101P Soluble Oil Package is your complete pre-formulated production solution.
Most formulators face consistent production troubles: poor paraffin oil emulsification, emulsion separation in hard water, rapid bacterial spoilage shortening fluid lifespan, excessive foam disrupting high-speed machining, or restricted chemical ingredients failing global export audits. This additive package is engineered to solve all these real workshop pain points after repeated lab compatibility testing.
Unlike generic universal additive blends sold on the market, we built a dedicated emulsifier system perfectly matched to paraffinic base oil. The formula contains zero nitrite, sulfur, chlorine, phosphorus, phenols and aldehydes. Finished soluble oil made with our product easily passes environmental inspection standards for EU, North America and Southeast Asia without extra formula adjustments. It also features mild, skin-friendly components with low irritation for on-site operators.
Most common metalworking additives are designed for naphthenic base oil, which creates soap sediment and oil separation once mixed with paraffin stock. Our exclusive surfactant system fixes this compatibility issue entirely. Diluted working fluid maintains a uniform milky emulsion long-term, with no floating oil to block CNC machine pipelines.
This additive delivers stable inter-process protection for ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces.
Cast iron test (5% dilution, 2h immersion per JB/T9189-2010): Grade 0, zero rust traces
LY12 aluminum test (5% dilution, 8h static per GB/T6144): Grade A, no discoloration or corrosionStacked semi-finished parts can be safely stored between machining steps, drastically cutting oxidation-related scrap rates.
Coolant blended with our package remains stable in water hardness ranging from 300ppm to 500ppm, even with regular factory tap water. Its low foaming property supports high-speed turning, milling and grinding without foam overflow polluting workshop floors.
Balanced built-in bacteriostatic agents suppress bacteria and mold growth inside coolant tanks. Compared with traditional soluble oil additives, our formula slows rancidity significantly, reducing tank replacement frequency and lowering daily maintenance costs for end machining factories.
Special lubricating components form a dense protective film between cutting tools and workpieces during processing. This minimizes friction loss, extends tool service life and improves surface finish on steel and aluminum parts. For heavy tapping or grinding tasks, manufacturers can add extra EP additives to boost lubrication performance further.
All test data below is measured in constant-temperature lab environments, compliant with global metalworking fluid test standards, for formulation reference only.

Simple Ambient Temperature Blending Guide for Manufacturers
No heating equipment or complex multi-step feeding is required; all mixing work can be completed at room temperature.
RLT-SO101P soluble oil package: 20% – 25%
Paraffinic base oil: 75% – 80%
Pour the full soluble oil package into the mixing tank under normal room temperature
Slowly add paraffin base oil while running continuous mechanical stirring
Keep stirring until the entire mixture turns fully transparent, then stop mixing for filling and packaging
Different brands and batches of paraffin base oil have minor emulsification compatibility differences. We strongly recommend all partner manufacturers run small bench compatibility trials before mass blending to avoid unstable finished emulsion. Our technical team provides free sample testing and formulation guidance for new customers.
Soluble cutting oil produced with RLT-SO101P fits light to medium duty machining for most mainstream metals (not suitable for magnesium alloy):
Ferrous Metals: Cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel
Non-Ferrous Metals: LY12 aluminum, 6061, 7075 and all standard aluminum alloys
Suitable processing types: Turning, drilling, tapping, boring, milling, surface grinding, saw cutting and all common CNC precision machining.
200L metal iron drum: Net weight 180KG per drum
1000L IBC plastic tote tank: Net weight 1000KG per tank
We offer customized small-volume packaging for laboratory formula research. Long-term cooperative manufacturers can contact sales for personalized packaging solutions.
Store all sealed drums and IBC tanks inside covered indoor warehouses
Avoid long-term direct sunlight exposure
Keep container tops dry to prevent rainwater and external moisture from entering
Tighten lids completely after partial use to avoid impurity contamination affecting emulsification performance
Q1: Can this soluble oil package work with all paraffin base oil brands?
A: This formula is optimized specifically for paraffinic base stocks, yet different base oil raw materials carry subtle compatibility gaps. Small lab trials before mass production are the safest way to avoid oil separation and sediment formation.
Q2: Does finished soluble oil meet international environmental export standards?
A: The formula contains zero nitrite, sulfur, chlorine, phosphorus, phenol and aldehyde hazardous substances, fully complying with mainstream metalworking fluid import inspection rules worldwide.
Q3: What dilution ratio should end machining factories use?
A: Light cutting work uses 4%-5% dilution; heavy grinding and tapping processes require 6%-8% concentration for stronger lubrication and anti-rust performance.
Q4: Can I get free test samples for formula development?
A: Yes, we supply small test samples for new coolant manufacturers. Send us your base oil parameters and planned production capacity, and our technical staff will arrange samples and professional formulation support for you.
