High-Pressure Die Casting

RLT-6620 is a white emulsion made from pure raw materials and with a well-balanced wax addition. These ingredients have a positive effect on shrinkage during the solidification phase of the castings. Therefore the product is also suitable for older and partly worn out dies.

Parts produced with RLT- 6620 are extremely shiny and accurate with clean surfaces. A clean surface is one of the most important conditions for trouble-free welding, painting and powder coating of the casting.

The release power is excellent. The emulsion is micro-fine and very stable.

Even after many weeks of correctly using RLT-6620 there will be neither sticky residues on the mould frames nor any build-up in the contours of the mould. Core sliders and spray nozzles stay clean.

Application

RLT-6620 is high performance release agent which is targeting for <1600T die casting machine, with average dilution ratio 1:150-200, it is traditional release agent with wax addition. It is a general purpose product, which is suitable for a wide spectrum of casting.

Die temperature range: from 140 to max 350 °C.

The ultimate or ideal dilution ratio for a particular casting is determined by: duration of spray, spray velocity, geometry and complexity of casting as well as the temperature of the tooling. On-site tests should therefore be carried out to establish the correct ratio for each particular

application.
